Poplar Winds (Kavak Yelleri) (translated)

Kavak Yelleri is a Turkish youth drama produced by Tims&B Productions and conceived as a local adaptation of the American series Dawson's Creek. It aired on Kanal D from May 31, 2007 to August 30, 2011, was created by producer Timur Savcı, and was filmed in the Urla and Seferihisar districts of İzmir as well as various neighborhoods of Istanbul; its theme song is Pinhani's "Hele Bi Gel."

The series follows a group of teenagers who cross paths at the same school and neighborhood, tracing their friendships, first loves, and family conflicts alongside the parallel stories of their parents. Its leads include Pelin Karahan, İbrahim Kendirci, Aslı Enver, and Sarp Apak, with a supporting cast featuring Ceren Moray, Cemil Büyükdöğerli, Ferit Aktuğ, Lale Mansur, and Dağhan Külegeç. Running for 5 seasons and 170 episodes, it left a lasting mark on Turkish youth culture and remains one of the most fondly remembered teen dramas on Turkish television.
