Ferit Kaya — Biography

Born on February 24, 1984, in Diyarbakır, Ferit Kaya trained at the Theatre Department of the Mimar Sinan State Conservatory before launching his acting career in 2006 with the series Erkekler Ağlamaz.

Over a career spanning more than two decades, he has appeared in numerous well-known series and films, including Kavak Yelleri, Mavi Gözlü Dev, Öyle Bir Geçer Zaman ki, Kötü Yol, Bu Son Olsun, Muhteşem Yüzyıl: Kösem, Kehribar, Aşk ve Mavi, Dayan Yüreğim and Kuzgun, establishing himself as one of the familiar faces of Turkish television.

He most recently reached a wide audience playing Demir Baybars in the ATV series Uzak Şehir, before announcing his departure from the show in the summer of 2026; reports indicate he is set to join the network's upcoming period drama.
