Ali's Eight Days

Ali's Eight Days (Turkish: Ali'nin Sekiz Günü) is a 2009 Turkish drama film written and directed by Cemal Şan. It stars Serdar Orçin as a young shopkeeper who falls for a woman trying to break free from an abusive relationship, with Uğur Polat also featured in the cast. The film went on general release in Turkey on May 8, 2009, and was screened as part of the 20th Ankara International Film Festival. It serves as the closing entry in the director's trilogy that began with Zeynep's Eight Days (2007) and continued with Dilber's Eight Days (2008), in which each film traces a decisive eight-day period in the life of a different character.
