Sarp Apak — Biography

Kerim Sarp Apak was born on 11 November 1981 in Diyarbakır and moved to Bursa with his family at a young age. After attending Bursa Erkek High School, he graduated in 2004 from the Acting Department of Dokuz Eylül University's Faculty of Fine Arts and, encouraged by his teacher, settled in Istanbul and joined Yılmaz Erdoğan's BKM troupe.

He began his career with Organize İşler, En Son Babalar Duyar and Anadolu Kaplanı; his Tanrıverdi character in Avrupa Yakası won him wide affection, and he consolidated his rise with series such as Kavak Yelleri and Yalan Dünya. He played Ozan Özpamuk in Jet Sosyete and Mahir in Kaderimin Oyunu.

On the big screen he has appeared in Yeraltı, Karışık Kaset, Yaktın Beni, Ölümlü Dünya and its sequel Ölümlü Dünya 2, as well as İyi Bir Aile Değiliz and Efes'in Sırrı. He is married to Bengisu Uzunöz.
