World of Lies (Yalan Dünya) (translated)

Yalan Dünya is a Turkish sitcom written by Gülse Birsel, directed by Jale Atabey and produced by D Productions. It premiered on Kanal D on 13 January 2012 and ran for four seasons until its 90th and final episode aired on 19 November 2014. The idea grew out of Birsel's own experience meeting people while looking for an office in Istanbul's Cihangir district, and the show follows two families with sharply contrasting lifestyles who end up living side by side there. With music by Nil Karaibrahimgil, the cast included creator Gülse Birsel alongside Müge Boz, Gonca Vuslateri, Şevval Sam, Tülin Özen and Gupse Özay, with occasional guest appearances by foreign stars such as Pamela Anderson and Lorenzo Lamas. The series won the Golden Butterfly Award for Best Comedy Series.
