Bengi Öztürk — Biography

Bengi Öztürk is a Turkish actress born on 28 December 1980 in Germany. While studying economics at Gazi University, she took part in the Türkiye'nin Yıldızları competition broadcast on Show TV and placed, after which she turned to acting.

Öztürk made her screen debut in 2005 with the series Dönme Dolap and went on to appear in series such as Şöhret, Beşinci Boyut, Sessiz Fırtına, Canım Ailem, Kızım Nerede, Yalancı Bahar, Yalan Dünya and Dila Hanım. She became widely known for the character Melek Öğretmen, whom she portrayed in the series Küçük Gelin.

In 2017 she played Aysun in the series Dayan Yüreğim; in 2018 she appeared in the series Mehmed: Bir Cihan Fatihi and Ege'nin Hamsisi, bringing the character Hatçe to life in the latter. Öztürk married musician Sedat Barış Orhun in 2013 and they later divorced; in 2018 she married fellow actor Sertaç Akkaya, with whom she has a daughter named Vera.
