Damn Istanbul (Ulan İstanbul) (translated)

Ulan İstanbul opens with the head of a family locked up for fraud, an action-comedy premise that pushes the rest of the household to raise enough money for his release. Following his old methods, the family members start running their own schemes, usually aimed at people who got rich through dishonest means. The show mixes fast-paced con-artist plotting with dark humor and romantic subplots, using different corners of Istanbul as the backdrop for each scheme. It was directed by Murat Onbul and written by Uğraş Güneş for D Productions. The run began in June 2014 and wrapped up with its 39th episode in March 2015, with the final handful of episodes released online rather than on broadcast television.
