Kıvanç Kılınç — Biography

Kıvanç Kılınç is an actor born on 19 August 1982, with roots in Isparta. He first took up theatre in 1997 at the Antalya Tiyatro Atölyesi, then in 2001 entered the Theatre Department of Ankara University's Faculty of Language, History and Geography, graduating in 2005 and settling in Istanbul. Between 2007 and 2013 he was a founding member of the improv comedy troupe Kurusıkı, and alongside acting he has also worked as a voice artist for commercials and radio drama.

He made his screen debut in the series Kanun Adına and went on to take roles across a range of genres: period dramas such as Muhteşem Yüzyıl and Lale Devri, historical productions such as Diriliş Ertuğrul and Filinta, and series including Bizim Evin Halleri, Kız Takımı, Yer Gök Aşk, Ulan İstanbul, Kaçak and Kalbimdeki Deniz. Since 2021 he has been widely recognized for playing İlkkan in the series Gibi, which continues into a third season approved in 2026. In 2025 he appeared as Faruk in the film Confidente.
