Confidante (Confidente)

Confidente is a 2025 drama film directed and written by the duo Çağla Zencirci and Guillaume Giovanetti. A co-production between Turkey, France, and Luxembourg shot in Turkish, it celebrated its world premiere on February 17, 2025, in the Panorama section of the 75th Berlin International Film Festival.

Leading actress Saadet Aksoy plays a character living with a dual identity. The ensemble also features Erkan Kolçak Köstendil, Muhammet Uzuner, Nilgün Türksever, İlber Uygar Kaboğlu, Osman Alkaş, and Kıvanç Kılınç. Running around 76 minutes, the film is another joint effort from the long-collaborating directing pair and began its international festival career in Berlin.
