Nilgün Türksever — Biography

Nilgün Türksever is a Turkish stage and television actress born on 16 May 1977 in Bursa. After completing her primary and secondary education in her home city, she joined the Bursa Culture, Art and Tourism Foundation Theatre in 1998, was admitted to the Acting Major of the Performing Arts Department at Anadolu University's State Conservatory in 2001, and has worked as an actress at the Bursa Metropolitan Municipality City Theatre since 2005, where she also teaches creative drama courses for different age groups.

She stepped into television in 2017 with the series Kara Yazı and played Selma in Hayat Sırları the same year. In 2018 she played Zerrin Taşdemir, Halit's second wife and Alihan's older sister, in Yasak Elma, appeared in Sadakatsiz, and became widely known for the role of Laçin in Yargı, both in 2021. In 2025 she played Hayal in the film Confidente and joined the cast of the series Başka Bir Gün the same year.

In her personal life, she married actor Uğur Polat, who had been her instructor during her conservatory years.
