Tulip Era (Lale Devri) (translated)

Lale Devri (Tulip Age) is a Turkish drama series produced by Avşar Film that premiered on September 14, 2010. Its first 11 episodes aired on Show TV, where disappointing ratings brought it to the verge of cancellation; from episode 12 onward it moved to FOX, where it found real success. The series ran for four seasons and ended on February 8, 2014 with its 135th episode.

Tolgahan Sayışman and Serenay Sarıkaya starred, while Emina Sandal, who played Lale, left at episode 16. In a first for Turkish television, Selen Soyder transferred her Toprak character from Yer Gök Aşk, another series by the same production company, into a leading role here, boosting the ratings. When Sarıkaya departed in the third season, Deniz Barut joined as Azra. Broadcast in many countries, the series also lent its music to Murat Dalkılıç's album "Lale Devri / Yalan Dünya".
