Barış Kılıç — Biography

Barış Kılıç was born on 22 June 1978 in the Arguvan district of Malatya. After graduating from the Economics Department of Istanbul University, he turned to acting.

He had his first acting experience in 2004 with the series Bütün Çocuklarım. He then appeared in Leylan and Vazgeç Gönlüm (2007), and Aynadaki Düşman and Sakarya Fırat (2009). In 2011 he became widely known with the series Adını Feriha Koydum, and in 2012 he played the character Burak in Merhaba Hayat.

In 2013 he appeared in Lale Devri, and in 2014 he played Ömer Hekimoğlu in Güllerin Savaşı. That same year he made his cinema debut with the film Seni Seviyorum Adamım. He later acted in the series Evlat Kokusu and Yasak Elma.

Since 2022 he has played the character Ömer Ünal in the series Kızılcık Şerbeti, a role that brought him great acclaim; as of 2026 he remains part of the show's cast.
