Murat Han — Biography

Murat Han was born on 1 May 1975 in Ankara. After graduating from the Theatre Department of Bilkent University's Faculty of Music and Performing Arts, he studied at the Stella Adler acting academy in Los Angeles and lived and worked as an actor in America for about nine years.

He took his first role in Turkey in the 2007 series Vazgeç Gönlüm. That same year he won the Golden Orange Best Actor award for the character Cemal in the film Mutluluk. In 2008 he played Mahmut in the film Vicdan, and he increased his recognition with the series Ömre Bedel, Sensiz Olmaz and Eve Düşen Yıldırım.

In 2013 he took on the role of Mehmet in the series Sana Bir Sır Vereceğim. He later appeared in the series Hatasız Kul Olmaz, Evlat Kokusu, Teşkilat and Yalnız Kurt, and in the films Kervan 1915, Âkif, Prestij Meselesi and Aybüke: Öğretmen Oldum Ben.

The actor, who won the audience's appreciation with the character Hamdi Karaçay in the series Teşkilat, joined the cast of Ben Bu Cihana Sığmazam in 2024 in the role of Tura.
