Yıldız Kültür — Biography

Yıldız Kültür was born on December 31, 1944, in Ankara. After graduating from the theater department of the Ankara State Conservatory, she worked with the Ankara, İzmir, and Istanbul State Theaters in turn, touring across Turkey for years as a stage actress.

She began her stage career in 1963 and moved in front of the camera starting in the 1980s. In the 2000s she reached wide audiences through series such as Dudaktan Kalbe and Aşka Sürgün, and on the big screen she drew attention for her performance in the 2008 film Issız Adam. Across a long career spanning theater, film, and television, Kültür has also appeared in the series Bir Gece Masalı.
