Pamir Pekin — Biography

Pamir Pekin was born on 31 May 1979 in Istanbul. He graduated from the Department of Econometrics at Marmara University, worked as a model for a while, and first appeared on camera in a 2003 commercial before appearing in Hülya Avşar's "A Benim Akılsızım" music video.

Meeting Veli Çelik proved a turning point in his career; in 2007 he stepped into acting playing Inspector Ali in Komiser Nevzat. In the following years he took roles in Kavak Yelleri, Parmaklıklar Ardında, Vurgun, Keskin Bıçak, Lale Devri and Muhteşem Yüzyıl, where he played Elkaz Mirza. In 2012 he was stabbed five times during an altercation in Bebek. He played Doktor Serdar in the film Günce (2013), Inspector Kemal in Gönül İşleri, and Murat in İlişki Durumu: Karışık, and became well known through the series Gülümse Yeter (2016), Hayat Şarkısı (2016-2017) and Tutsak (2017).

More recently he appeared in Bir Annenin Günahı (2020) and Gelsin Hayat Bildiği Gibi (2022). In his private life he was once in a relationship with Serenay Sarıkaya, and in 2025 he made tabloid headlines over a relationship with actress Nesrin Cavadzade that began that year but proved short-lived.
