Beauty and the Ugly (Güzel Çirkin) (translated)

Güzel Çirkin is a Turkish police television series that aired on Kanal D in 2013. Produced by Erler Film, its first episode was broadcast on July 1, 2013; after its time slot was changed, ratings dropped and the series concluded with its 13th episode. The finale featured an explosion in the building where Nazlı, Murat and Şenol were located, leaving the characters' fate open-ended.

The series follows two police commissioners of opposite personalities who are forced to work together in Istanbul's busiest district. Ali Sunal starred as Commissioner Murat and Naz Elmas as Commissioner Nazlı, with the cast also including Cahit Gök, Erhan Alpay, Gözde Türkpençe, Kemal Uçar, Nazan Diper and Pamir Pekin.
