Nazan Diper — Biography

Nazan Diper was born in 1965 in the Gölcük district of Kocaeli. While at university she joined the Bizim Tiyatro company led by Zafer Diper, taking the stage in both adult and children's plays from 1982 onward; she later completed the university education she had left unfinished, graduating from the Teaching program at Marmara Physical Education College. Since 1986 she has also worked as a voice actress on TRT radio programs such as Arkası Yarın and Çocuk Saati.

She entered film with Bir Avuç Gökyüzü (1987) and Bütün Kapılar Kapalıydı (1990), then played Yasemin in Aynalı Tahir (1998), Goncagül in Aşkına Eşkiya (2001) and Semiha in Arka Sokaklar (2006). After roles in Aşk Bir Hayal (2009), Eve Düşen Yıldırım (2012) and Güzel Çirkin (2013), she became widely known for playing Esma in Küçük Ağa and Zeytin Tepesi (2014), Ayten in Acı Aşk (2015), Azime in Aşk Laftan Anlamaz (2016), Selver Bozok in Savaşçı (2017) and Saadet in Kırmızı Oda (2020).

She played Hacer in Gülümse Kaderine in 2022, and has appeared as Maviş Dadı in ATV's series Bir Gece Masalı since 2024.
