Ozan Çobanoğlu — Biography

Ozan Çobanoğlu, born on February 6, 1980 in Kars, is a Turkish actor and the son of the folk poet Murat Çobanoğlu. He graduated from the Theatre Department of the Hacettepe University State Conservatory in 2004; after working at the İzmir and Ankara State Theatres, he became a permanent member of the Konya State Theatre from 2005 onwards.

He began his screen career with series such as Sırlar Dünyası (2002) and Şubat Soğuğu (2005), and took the lead role in Tek Türkiye (2007), broadcast on Samanyolu TV. He appeared in series such as Yağmurdan Sonra, Beşinci Boyut, Küçük Kadınlar, Kollama, Anneler ile Kızları, İffet, Galip Derviş, Küçük Ağa and Bir Deniz Hikayesi, and acted in the 2012 feature film Fetih 1453.

Having joined Arka Sokaklar from its 389th episode, Çobanoğlu has portrayed Inspector Hakan Çınar for many years. The actor married Ezgi Sertel in 2016, whom he had met on Tek Türkiye; the couple's twin boys Tibet and Mert were born in January 2020.
