One Türkiye (Tek Türkiye) (translated)

Tek Türkiye (One Turkey) is a Turkish television drama directed by Naci Şelak from a screenplay by Ali Kara, broadcast on Samanyolu TV. The production ran for four seasons and ended after 149 episodes.

The story unfolds in the fictional village of Sağırsu in southeastern Anatolia, a community living under the grip of a terrorist organization. As villagers struggle with both violence and poverty, the arrival of Tarık, a doctor who decides to remain in the village and stand by its people, drives the narrative forward. Themes of love, blood feuds, and the fight against terror are interwoven throughout the show.

Although set in the east of the country, the series was shot in Konya, and roughly 15,000 meters of fabric were used to produce its costumes. In 2008 it ranked among the channel's most-watched programs, with its season finale topping the ratings. From 2010 onward, it also aired on MBC 4 under the Arabic title 'El Ard El Tayyiba' with Arabic dubbing.
