Deniz Barut — Biography

Deniz Barut (born 29 March 1983 in Denizli) is a Turkish film and television actress. A graduate of the Sports Academy at Ege University, she played volleyball in her youth and placed second in the 1997 Elite Model Look contest. She began acting in 2006 with the series Kaybolan Yıllar.

Her credits include Kara Para Aşk (2014), Hayatımın Aşkı (2016), Poyraz Karayel: Küresel Sermaye (2017), Avlu (2018), Baba Parası (2020), Sol Yanım (2020) and Destan (2021). In 2026 she plays the psychologist Suna in the series A.B.İ. In December 2025 it was reported that she had married director Yüksel Aksu.
