İpek Erdem — Biography

İpek Erdem was born in Bursa in 1984. She trained as an actress at the Istanbul University State Conservatory and began her on-screen career in 2003.

She made her mark early on playing Barbi Gamze in the television series Hayat Bilgisi, later taking on the role of Mehtap in the film Five Cities and Münevver Hancıoğlu in the series Love Is in the Air. In 2019 she returned to television as Sermin in the series Kuzgun.

Still closely associated with her breakout role as Barbi Gamze, Erdem continues to draw attention from the Turkish press years later, frequently remembered by the public for that early performance.
