Tolgahan Sayışman — Biography

Turgut Tolgahan Sayışman was born on 17 December 1981 in Istanbul. A graduate of the Business Administration Department at Doğuş University, he was named Best Model of Turkey in 2002 and Manhunt of Turkey in 2004; in 2005 he won the Manhunt International competition among contestants from 75 countries.

After working as a model for a while, he took acting lessons from Ayla Algan and made his screen debut in 2006 with the series Esir Kalpler. He won acclaim as Tıbbiyeli Mustafa in the series Elveda Rumeli and took the lead in the films Aşk Tutulması and Aşk Geliyorum Demez. The character of Çınar Ilgaz in the series Lale Devri, which began in 2010, brought him great popularity.

The actor, who played Yiğit Kozan in Asla Vazgeçmem, Kenan in Siyah İnci and Fırat Bölükbaşı, nicknamed Kafkas, in Şampiyon, took on the role of Barbaros Hayreddin Pasha in the series Barbaros Hayreddin: Sultanın Fermanı in 2022. Turning to production in recent years, Sayışman also produced the series Kurtuluş Lisesi.
