Kerem Bürsin — Biography

Kerem Bürsin was born on June 4, 1987 in Istanbul; he is an actor, producer and model. He spent his childhood in different countries; he studied at Emerson College and began his career in independent films in Hollywood.

In Türkiye he rose to fame in 2013 with the series Güneşi Beklerken, consolidating his reputation as Yiğit in Şeref Meselesi (2014). His performance as Ali Smith in Bu Şehir Arkandan Gelecek (2017) earned him the Best Actor award at the Seoul International Drama Awards. His role as Serkan Bolat in Sen Çal Kapımı (2020) — sold to more than 90 countries — brought him worldwide recognition.

On the big screen he appeared in Can Feda (2018) and Mavi Mağara (2024). After the series Çarpıntı (2025), he starred in Gupse Özay's Netflix series Platonik: Mavi Dolunay Otel (2025).
