Aydan Taş — Biography

Born in 1982, Aydan Taş is a Turkish theatre, television and film actress. She graduated from Anadolu University's Economics department in Eskişehir and from Karadeniz Technical University's Business Administration department; during her university years she gained stage experience in the school theatre productions Eski Çarıklar and Pişti. She went on to train in theatre at various venues in Istanbul, and after working with Bir Demet Tiyatro and BKM Mutfak she became a BKM Mutfak performer from 2005, appearing regularly in sketch comedy.

She made her screen debut with the film Organize İşler (2005) and went on to appear in the series Bebeğim, Bir Demet Tiyatro, Sınıf, Çok Güzel Hareketler Bunlar, Aşağı Yukarı Yemişliler, Krem, Yalan Dünya and Karadayı. She reached a wide audience with the role of Nilay in Hayat Şarkısı (2016), then played Şehriyar in Hercai (2019) and Didem in Sadakatsiz (2021). In film she appeared in Neşeli Hayat, Çok Filim Hareketler Bunlar, Hadi İnşallah, Kardeşim Benim 2 and Her Şey Seninle Güzel. In 2023 she said she had lost relatives in the earthquake that struck İskenderun.
