Beyazıt Öztürk — Biography

Beyazıt Öztürk was born in 1969 in Bolu. He completed his education in the Department of Ceramics and Sculpture at the Faculty of Fine Arts of Eskişehir Anadolu University. Beyazıt Öztürk, who began working at a radio station while studying in Eskişehir, could not work as a presenter because he could not pronounce the letter "r" and instead prepared programs. He took his first step into a presenting career on Genç Radyo, founded by his roommate; together with his friend he published a satirical magazine with political content titled Gına. He first used his nickname Beyaz under the cartoons in this magazine. After graduating, Beyaz reached wide audiences by making programs on Radyo Klas; he made programs on Number One Tv, Kanal 6, Best Fm and Radyo D. Beyazıt Öztürk, who has presented the program Beyaz Show since 1996, is this year taking a break and sits on the jury panel together with Hadise, Murat Boz and Seda Sayan in the competition program titled O Ses Türkiye, which airs on Tv8 and whose production and presentation are undertaken by Acun Ilıcalı. Beyaz has also appeared in the series Yalan Dünya, Başrolde Aşk, Kurtlar Vadisi Pusu, Karım ve Annem, Unutma Beni, Reyting Hamdi, En Son Babalar Duyar, Biz Size Aşık Olduk, Yedi Numara, Nihavend Mucize and Mahallenin Muhtarları; and in the films Nadide Hayat, Eyvah Eyvah 2, O Şimdi Mahkum, Sır Çocukları and Dansöz.
