Dansöz

Dansöz ("The Belly Dancer") is a 2001 Turkish drama film written, produced and directed by Savaş Ay. Set in the distinctive world of the Roma, it tells of Cobra, a celebrated belly dancer who enchants everyone around her until she is shot and left disabled by a man she loves, weaving a story of love, hatred and death.

The cast includes Kerem Alışık, Fikret Kuşkan, Yeliz Yeşilmen and Beyazıt Öztürk.
