Eva Dedova — Biography

Eva Dedova is a Kazakhstani-Turkish actress of Russian and German descent, born on February 22, 1992, in Kazakhstan. She grew up between Kazakhstan and Turkey and studied Radio, Television, Film and Theatre at Kadir Has University in Istanbul; besides Turkish, she speaks Russian and English.

She began her career with the BKM comedy group and appeared on the show Çok Güzel Hareketler Bunlar before joining the final season of Kavak Yelleri in 2011 as Öykü Akyol. She had a role in the series Yalan Dünya in 2012, and drew wider attention in 2013 by playing Meryem opposite Aras Bulut İynemli in the film Mahmut ile Meryem. She went on to appear in Kurt Seyit ve Şura (2014), the Kanal D series Babam ve Ailesi (2016), and Mehmetçik Kut'ül Amare (2018), in which she played Victoria.

In 2020 she took part in the international production Rise of Empires: Ottoman, centered on the founding era of the Ottoman Empire, and returned to cinema with the 2023 film Mitat.
