Ahu Yağtu — Biography
Ahu Yağtu (born July 11, 1978, in İzmir) is a Turkish actress and model. Having started modeling in 1993, she became one of Türkiye's leading models and also worked in style consulting and fashion design; she received her acting training at Şahika Tekand's studio.
She made her screen debut in 2001 as Esin in the series 90-60-90 and hosted the competition show Biri Bizi Gözetliyor in 2003. She became known through Savcının Karısı (2005), Kavak Yelleri (2007), and Aşk ve Ceza (2010); her best-known role was Candan in the series Paramparça (2014-2017). She later appeared in the series Kadın (2017) and Kardeşlerim (2021, as Suzan), and in the films Bir Avuç Deniz (2010), Arif V 216 (2018), and Hilal, Feza ve Diğer Gezegenler (2019), while also performing on theatre stages. Named Style Icon of the Year at the 2013 Elle Style Awards, Yağtu stayed in the headlines in 2025 with her account of the brain aneurysm she had suffered and with her relationship with Bora Cengiz.
