Gülnihal Demir — Biography

Gülnihal Demir, a Turkish actress from Muğla, came to acting in middle age. She retired from a private bank at 50 and then stepped in front of the camera. The role that introduced her to wide audiences was Canfeda in the film Dondurmam Gaymak. In 2026 she is in the cast of Dondurmam Gaymak: Gapital, the sequel made twenty years later; shooting was carried out in Muğla.

Her screen record begins in 2004 with television series: she appeared in Büyük Yalan and Büyük Buluşma, playing Ayten in the second. In the following years she played Güllü in Yeşeren Düşler, Kadife in Benden Baba Olmaz and Naciye in Havalimanı/İyi Uçuşlar; Dalgakıran, Kavak Yelleri and Bozkırda Bir Çiçek also belong to this period. From 2010 to 2013 she played Gülfidan in Çocuklar Duymasın, and again in Babam Sağ Olsun in 2011. She was Fatma in Zengin Kız Fakir Oğlan (2012-2014) and Carlos's mother in Nizama Adanmış Ruhlar (2013).

In cinema she played Nilüfer in Süper İncir (2013) and Gülfidan once more in Mandıra Filozofu (2014) and Mandıra Filozofu İstanbul (2015); she was Düğün Hatice Teyze in Deliha and also appeared in Avanak Dedektör and Ali Kundilli 2. She also attends local events in various towns as a guest.
