Gülnihal Demir is a Turkish actress born in 1953 in Muğla. After many years working at a private bank, she retired at the age of 50 and turned to acting. She made her real breakthrough with the role of Canfeda in the film 'Dondurmam Gaymak' (Ice Cream, I Scream), which introduced her to a wide audience.

Demir's filmography also includes productions such as 'Süper İncir', 'Mandıra Filozofu' and 'Ali Kundilli 2'. She underwent obesity surgery in 2016 and lost a significant amount of weight in a short period, a journey she shared publicly with the press.
