Cemil Büyükdöğerli — Biography
Cemil Büyükdöğerli is a Turkish stage, film and television actor, born on 24 December 1980 in Istanbul. He studied Music and Performing Arts at Bilkent University, and his move into acting was encouraged by his discovery by Şahan Gökbakar. Alongside theatre work from 2003 onward, he began appearing on screen, making his television debut in 2005 with Dikkat Şahan Çıkabilir, playing a police officer in the 2006 film Gen, and building his profile with Kısmetim Otel and four seasons on Kavak Yelleri.
In the following years he appeared in productions such as Buğra, Muhteşem Yüzyıl, Göl Zamanı (2013), Çıplak Gerçek and Karadayı; in 2016 he played Onur in the Fox TV series Bana Sevmeyi Anlat, and he also appeared in Bir Aile Hikayesi.
He drew attention in 2021 playing İlhan in Maraşlı, and in 2022 portrayed the Mongol commander Cebe in Kuruluş Osman. In 2024 he joined the cast of Show TV's Ne Gemiler Yaktım and continues to take on new projects.
