Algı Eke — Biography

Algı Eke was born on 16 September 1985 in Istanbul. Coming from a family of Georgian descent with roots in Artvin, she graduated from Cağaloğlu Anatolian High School and then went to Berlin to study dramaturgy.

After returning to Turkey, Eke met producer Mustafa Şevki Doğan and began her television career in 2008 with the series Baba Ocağı. Following series such as Dürüye'nin Güğümleri, Keşanlı Ali Destanı and Annem Uyurken, she became widely known with Galip Derviş, the Turkish adaptation of the famous series Monk. In 2013 she played the character Kıymet in the romantic comedy Kedi Özledi, sharing the lead with İlker Ayrık.

Standing out with her roles as Hasret in the film Kaygı, Esma in Kaçma Birader and Elif in the 2017 series İsimsizler, the actress played Atiye Kulaksız in the series Hizmetçiler in 2020. After films such as Yok Artık, Cingöz Recai and Nasipse Olur, in recent years she has appeared mainly in comedy films such as Sil Baştan Kaynanam, Aynasız Haluk, Ne Olacak Halim?, Mükemmel Aile, Nasipse Olur 2 and 7 Büyük Günah.
