Inflame (Kaygı)

Kaygı (international title: Inflame) is a 94-minute Turkish psychological thriller from 2017, directed by Ceylan Özgün Özçelik. The film had its world premiere on February 12, 2017, in the Panorama section of the 67th Berlin International Film Festival, and opened in Türkiye on May 12, 2017, in Başka Sinema theaters.

Algı Eke stars as Hasret, alongside Taner Birsel, Kadir Çermik, Selen Uçer and Boncuk Yılmaz. The narrative centers on a repressed memory of the past and the media's attitude toward it. The unsettling atmosphere crafted by cinematographer Radek Ladczuk was widely praised, and the film features Ekin Fil's first feature-length score, which won the Best Music Award at the Turkish Film Critics Association Awards.
