Kadir Çermik — Biography

Born Abdulkadir Çermik in Van on July 21, 1977, he trained as an actor at Anadolu University's State Conservatory and built a versatile career spanning stage, film, television, and voice acting.

He made his screen debut in 1999 with the series "Yılan Hikayesi," and after roles in "Yeditepe İstanbul" and "Kuzenlerim," gained wide recognition for his parts in "Muhteşem Yüzyıl" and "Karadayı." He also drew international attention for his performance in Nuri Bilge Ceylan's internationally acclaimed film "Ahlat Ağacı" (The Wild Pear Tree).

Çermik has continued to broaden his filmography with productions such as "Beyaz Gece," "Kırık Kalpler Bankası," "Kaygı," "Sarmaşık," "Kurbağa Prens," "Gözetleme Kulesi," "Cehennem Melekleri," and "Bana Sevmeyi Anlat," remaining one of Turkish film and television's most prolific actors.
