Servants (Hizmetçiler) (translated)

Hizmetçiler ("Servants") is a Turkish television series that aired on Kanal D in the spring of 2020, mixing drama with an intrigue-driven, mystery-tinged tone. Produced by Fabrika Yapım, it debuted on March 7, 2020 but failed to find an audience. Because of poor ratings it was taken off the schedule after its third episode, shown on March 21, 2020, and never reached a finale.

The series follows four domestic workers employed at a luxury residential complex in Istanbul and the relationships they form with the households they serve. Its main storyline is a loose adaptation of the Mexican series Ellas son... la alegría del hogar, created by Eugenio Derbez. Deniz Baysal and Algı Eke head the cast, joined by Ayşenil Şamlıoğlu, Gamze Karaduman, Nilay Erdönmez, Servet Pandur, Selen Domaç and Aleyna Solaker.

The screenplay was written by Makbule Kosif and the series was directed by Metin Balekoğlu.
