Deniz Baysal — Biography
Deniz Baysal (born April 5, 1991, in Karşıyaka, İzmir) is a Turkish television, film and theatre actress. She studied international trade at Celal Bayar University and trained in acting at the Karşıyaka Municipal Theatre, first appearing on screen as Nisan in the series Derin Sular (2011).
Following series such as Kaçak Gelinler (2014) and Beyaz Yalan (2015), she made her major breakthrough as Hazan in Fazilet Hanım ve Kızları (2017). She drew attention in cinema as the teacher Mine in 7. Koğuştaki Mucize (2019) and went on to star in Hizmetçiler (2020), Teşkilat (2021), Ne Gemiler Yaktım (2023) and Kalpazan (2024).
Since 2025 she has played Esme in the series Taşacak Bu Deniz; in 2026 she also made headlines by filing for divorce from her husband Barış Yurtçu.
