Sarp Akkaya — Biography

Sarp Akkaya is a Turkish theatre, film and television actor best known for playing Servet on Kurtlar Vadisi Pusu and later Tevfik on Ezel; he began acting at twelve alongside his twin brother Kaya Akkaya, and his sister Esra Akkaya works as an actress too. Born in Istanbul on May 13, 1980, he made his first screen appearance in Bizim Aile and graduated in 2001 from the Theatre Department of Mimar Sinan University's State Conservatory.

His role as Sarı came in Suskunlar (2012), with the part of Atmaca following in Muhteşem Yüzyıl; on Racon (2015) he was paired opposite Mehmet Aslantuğ as the lead, and he later played Demir in Paramparça. He also appeared in Söz and Çukur. On screen he was seen in Labirent (2011), El Yazısı (2012), Martıların Efendisi and Kötü Çocuk (2017), and Kaybedenler Kulübü Yolda and Görevimiz Tatil (2018), before appearing in 7. Koğuştaki Mucize (2019) as Warden Nail; more recently he played Enver Pasha in Atatürk 1881-1919 (2023) and Tarık in Kalpazan (2024).

Together with his siblings he founded the AKKAdemi theatre company in 2010, and he sits on the board of the SosyalBen Foundation. He married Sinem Yalçınkaya in 2017, and appeared opposite Leyla Tanlar in the 2026 play Job.
