Söz is a Turkish military action drama produced by Tims&B Productions, directed by Yağız Alp Akaydın, with a screenplay credited to Ethem Özışık, Hakan Bonomo and Ercan Uğur. The story follows soldier Yavuz Karasu, who loses his fiancée in a terrorist attack in Istanbul; the bond he forms with Dr. Bahar at the hospital, along with his return to his hometown, leads him to take command of a special forces unit. As the team carries out missions against threats to the region and the country, the narrative gives equal weight to their camaraderie, sacrifices and personal losses. The show premiered on Star TV in the spring of 2017, and its three-season run wrapped up in 2019. Tolga Sarıtaş, Serhat Kılıç and Burak Sevinç were part of the cast from the first season, with Mehmet Özgür and Deniz Baysal joining in later seasons.
