Doğukan Polat — Biography

Doğukan Polat was born on 5 June 1990 in Istanbul. In addition to the Acting Department of Beykent University, he studied in the Sociology Department of Anadolu University and later continued with acting lessons at the Akademi 35 Buçuk Sanat Evi. He first appeared on screen in 2009 with the series Kapalı Çarşı.

That same year he stepped into cinema with the film Nefes: Vatan Sağolsun and went on to appear in the films Kaybedenler Kulübü (2010), Türk Pasaportu (2011), Çanakkale 1915 (2012), Hükümet Kadın (2012), Hükümet Kadın 2 (2014) and Mucize (2014). On television he played in productions such as Şahin ve Çetesi, Canımın İçi, Yağmurdan Kaçarken, Güldür Güldür, Kadim Dostum, Ezra and Kurtlar Vadisi Pusu; in 2017 he drew attention with the character Aşık in Star TV's series Söz.
