Nazmi Kırık — Biography
Nazmi Kırık was born in 1976 in Diyarbakır; he completed middle school in Kızıltepe and high school in Diyarbakır. He began his artistic path with theatre and dance training at the Mesopotamia Culture Center in Diyarbakır, later moving to Istanbul, where he continued performing with the Jiyana Nu theatre group.
He made his film debut in 1999 with Yeşim Ustaoğlu's Journey to the Sun, and went on to appear in Kazım Öz's Fotoğraf, Yüksel Yavuz's Küçük Özgürlük and Hiner Salem's Kilomètre Zéro, productions that were screened at the Cannes Film Festival. His filmography also includes Beynelmilel, Organize İşler, Pandora's Box, Before Snowfall and Letter to the King, as well as a role in the German television film Tatort: Zorn Gottes.
He appeared in the 2017 series Siyah İnci and the 2023 film Elaha, and currently plays the character Nadim Baybars in the ongoing television series Uzak Şehir.
