Mine Çayıroğlu — Biography

Mine Çayıroğlu was born on 28 December 1977 in Istanbul. She began acting as a child, portraying the character Munise in an adaptation of Reşat Nuri Güntekin's Çalıkuşu, and took lessons from Haluk Bilginer. In 1997 she entered the Guildford School of Acting in England, graduating in 2000 after three years of training. Having appeared in series such as Avrupa Yakası, Parmaklıklar Ardında, İffet and İşler Güçler, she won acclaim with the character of Nisan in the series Söz. Çayıroğlu, who also starred in the feature films Beyza'nın Kadınları and Metropol Kabusu, released two albums, Zümrüt Gibi (2004) and Hayalperest (2014). The artist, who took to the theatre stage in 2025 with the role of Frida, returned to screens in 2026 with the series Aynı Yağmur Altında and also appeared in the film Parçalı Yıllar.
