That Life Is Mine (O Hayat Benim) (translated)

O Hayat Benim (That Life Is Mine) is a Turkish romance-drama series produced by Pastel Film that premiered on FOX on February 16, 2014, and ran for four seasons and 131 episodes until its finale on May 2, 2017. The story follows Bahar, who is taken from her mother Hasret's arms at birth by her grandfather and raised among his household staff; years later, the grandfather reveals her existence to her wealthy birth father, Mehmet. When he comes to claim his daughter, her poor and envious adoptive mother, Nuran, hides the truth and sends her own biological daughter, Efsun, in Bahar's place, a deception that eventually unravels and upends the lives of everyone connected to Mehmet's household.

Direction was shared over the show's run by Merve Girgin (through episode 9), Yıldız Hülya Bilban (from episode 10), and later Hamdi Alkan and Sadullah Şentürk. The leading roles were played by Ezgi Asaroğlu as Bahar, Keremcem as Ateş, and Ceren Moray as Efsun, with a large supporting cast including Ayşenaz Atakol (Nuran), Serkan Şenalp (Cemal), Ahu Sungur (Hülya), Ayçin İnci (Zuhal), Beril Kayar (Zeynep), Makbule Meyzinoğlu (Figen), Ozan Güler (Arda), and Güzide Arslan (Seçil). The series also found audiences abroad, airing on Pink TV in Serbia and Kanal D in Romania, and later reaching viewers through Arabic and Portuguese dubbed versions.
