Turgay Aydın — Biography

Turgay Aydın (born 1 January 1971, Darmstadt, Germany) is a German actor of Turkish descent. He trained at a German state theatre and performed on the same stage; he began his on-camera career in 1999 with the film Propaganda.

On television he acted in series such as Hatırla Sevgili (2006), Öyle Bir Geçer Zaman Ki (2011) and O Hayat Benim (2014), and portrayed the character Nizam in Umuda Kelepçe Vurulmaz (2016). He became widely known above all as Sabahattin Arcan in the series Bir Zamanlar Çukurova (2018). In cinema he appeared in Hiner Saleem's Lady Winsley (2019) and in Aşk Tesadüfleri Sever 2 (2020); in 2021 he joined the cast of the series Hz. Mevlâna.
