Gassal

Gassal is a Turkish drama-comedy web series that premiered on TRT's streaming platform tabii on December 21, 2024. Directed by Selçuk Aydemir, it stars Ahmet Kural in the lead role, with Özlem Tokaslan appearing as Gülşen.

The story follows Baki, a gassal — a washer of the dead — who, after coming face to face with death himself, begins pursuing the question "Who will wash me when I die?" While searching for someone to perform this duty, Baki discovers new meanings in life, confronts his loneliness and decides to reshape his existence. The series invites viewers to reflect on the value of life while offering an entertaining experience through its humorous touches. Hande Soral joined the cast in the second season.
