Heart Mountain (Gönül Dağı) (translated)

On air since October 2020, Gönül Dağı is presented as a family-centered comedy-drama on a national broadcaster and was put together by Köprü Film. Its storyline draws on writer Mustafa Çiftçi's tales of steppe life, and the poster's tagline nods to that same rural setting.

At its center are three young cousins growing up in the same small town; fascinated since childhood with tinkering and inventing gadgets, they set out as adults to build a small aircraft with an unconventional wing design. As episodes progress, the storyline widens to cover the townspeople's daily routines, family ties, and matters of the heart.

The ensemble includes Berk Atan, Semih Ertürk, Ferdi Sancar, Erdal Cindoruk, Yavuz Sepetçi, Hazal Çağlar, Nazlı Pınar Kaya, and Serkan Kuru; shooting took place in a district of Eskişehir, while the village depicted on screen is a fictional stand-in located within Niğde province. Beyond its regular run, the show also spawned two holiday-release feature films shown in cinemas and on the same national channel. The series additionally picked up two nominations at a national awards ceremony.
