Gökçe Akyıldız — Biography

Gökçe Akyıldız (born October 30, 1992, in Sinop) is a Turkish actress. Trained at the conservatory department of Haliç University, Akyıldız began acting at the age of ten with Sırlar Dünyası in 2002; as a child actress she appeared in the series Çınaraltı (2003) and the film Bir Tutam Baharat (2003).

She drew attention with the roles of Zozan in Hayat Devam Ediyor (2011) and Canan in Kötü Yol (2012); in 2013 her role as Aslı in Fatih Harbiye marked an important breakthrough, and she also appeared in Medcezir during the same period. She gained her widest recognition as Songül in the series Kırgın Çiçekler, which began in 2015. In later years she appeared in Elkızı (2021), Seni Kalbime Sakladım (2022, as Deren Tokgöz) and Akif (2023, as Cemile Ersoy), and she recently joined the cast of Gönül Dağı. Akyıldız married Mustafa Özyurt in 2017, has a son named Ömer, and divorced in 2020.
