Serkan Ercan — Biography
Serkan Ercan is a Turkish film and theatre actor born in Istanbul in 1975. He first stepped on stage during his high school years with Haldun Taner's play Ayışığında Şamata, later studying at Pera Fine Arts before entering the Istanbul University State Conservatory in 1995. He made his cinema debut with the 2001 film Şellale. His role in Gölge (2008) earned him the Best Supporting Actor award at the Adana Golden Boll Film Festival, and his leading performance in Gişe Memuru (2010) brought him the Best Actor prize at the Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival. His screen credits also include Yozgat Blues, Full of Hunger, Tarla, Anons and Champion, alongside television work such as the series Serçe Sarayı. He has also presented the travel program Gidiş Dönüş on İz TV.
