Hira Koyuncuoğlu — Biography

Hira Koyuncuoğlu was born on 5 January 1995 in Yalova. After the 1999 Gölcük earthquake, she and her family spent a long period living in a tent, an experience she has said in interviews left her with a lasting fear of earthquakes. After finishing high school she moved to Istanbul to study Advertising at Kadir Has University, and alongside acting she also works professionally as a ballet and modern dance instructor.

She made her screen debut in 2012 in the series Adını Feriha Koydum: Emir'in Yolu, then reached a wide audience playing Nehir in O Hayat Benim. She became known for playing Bade in İstanbullu Gelin, played Nisan Candemir in Maria ile Mustafa in 2020, joined the cast of Akıncı in 2021, and later took a lead role in Ayazın Sonu Güneş.

In her personal life, she was for a time in a relationship with actor Berkay Hardal, which ended in 2018-2019. In January 2026 she received a marriage proposal from Baran Sulhan, and the couple became engaged that April; their wedding is planned for September.
