Makbule Meyzinoğlu — Biography

Makbule Meyzinoğlu was born on 3 May 1974 in İstanbul, although some sources give her birth date as 3 November 1974 and her birthplace as Varna, Bulgaria. She trained as an actress at Akademi 35 Buçuk. Working across theatre, film and television, she made her screen debut in 2009 in the series Hanımın Çiftliği.

Most of her career has been spent in television. After roles in period dramas such as Muhteşem Yüzyıl and Çalıkuşu, she joined the casts of Güllerin Savaşı and Aşk Yalanı Sever. Her portrayal of Figen in O Hayat Benim, the Fox TV series led by Keremcem and Ezgi Asaroğlu, became one of her best-remembered parts. In 2019 she played Ester in the series Payitaht Abdülhamid. She continues to work on new projects.
