Pınar Çağlar Gençtürk — Biography

Pınar Çağlar Gençtürk was born on 6 March 1982 in İzmit, Kocaeli. After graduating from the Theatre Department of the Faculty of Fine Arts at Yeditepe University, she completed a master's degree in film and drama at Kadir Has University; alongside acting she has also worked as a theatre director.

She began her screen career in 2004 with the series Büyük Buluşma. After the films 7 Kocalı Hürmüz (2009) and Herkes Mi Aldatır? (2010), she played Beyhan in Muhteşem Yüzyıl (2011) and appeared in the series Çıplak Gerçek (2012) and Çalıkuşu (2013). In 2014 she portrayed Nisa in the horror film Siccin, and later acted in the series Arkadaşlar İyidir (2016) and Evlat Kokusu.

In 2020 she appeared as Emine in the series Arıza, and in 2021 as Aylin in Yargı. In 2025 she joined the cast of the series Çarpıntı, taking on the role of Meryem.
