Suzan Kardeş — Biography
Suzan Kardeş (born April 15, 1960, Kosovo) is a Turkish makeup artist, singer, and actress. Born into a Kosovo Turkish family, she moved to Istanbul with her family in 1968 and began working in a beauty salon at the age of 13. From the 1980s onwards she worked as a makeup artist and hairdresser on film, theatre, advertising, and photo shoots, doing the stage and set makeup of many famous names, above all Sezen Aksu.
She became known on screen with Berdel (1990) and Bir Demet Tiyatro (1995), and appeared in productions such as Organize İşler (2005), Muhteşem Yüzyıl (2011), Seksenler (2012), Kulüp (2021), and Bergen (2022). She began her professional singing career in 2007 with a Turkish classical music album and sings in five languages. In the spotlight with her concerts in 2026, she received the Cinema Labor Award at the Antalya Altın Portakal Film Festival the same year.
